Webinar: Risk analysis – a key part of human rights due diligence obligations

See all tags

Date & Time: 27 January 2022, 10 am CET, 9 am GMT

Multiple developments have recently taken place in the field of business and human rights in the DACH region: the German government recently passed the Due Diligence in the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act, the EU Commission is preparing its proposal for an EU-wide law, and developments surrounding the Corporate Responsibility Initiative have also progressed in Switzerland. These legislative initiatives oblige companies to avoid human rights violations in supply chains. Companies would therefore do well to critically review their practices and align their management systems accordingly, making early adjustments if necessary.

ELEVATE Dach cordially invites you to a series of webinars, where we will address the practical challenges arising from the new and upcoming regulations. The obligations under these new laws will be clearly explained, alongside pragmatic recommendations for implementation. The webinar series will open on January 27th with a session on human rights risk analysis, a key requirement, and one of the first steps in setting up an appropriate risk management system. This first webinar is aimed at newcomers to the topic of human rights risk analysis, those who want an overview of the requirements, and those looking to take away concrete approaches for their own work. This webinar will be held in German language.
