Response by KfW IPEX-Bank regarding Belarus letter & EKN withdrawal

We confirm to have received – on March, 18, 2021 – a letter from the Coordination Council (Belarus)/National Anti-Crisis Management to our bank. We replied and confirmed the receipt and a further review and evaluation of issues and topics raised in this letter. Also, we noted that this may take some time given the number of stakeholders including EKN being involved in the financing. On May 25, 2021, EKN withdraw the respective guarantee offers. This guarantee is a compulsory contractual component of the financing and its withdrawal means that the financing is no longer valid.
