EcoGraf is building a vertically integrated battery anode materials business to supply high-purity graphite products for the global lithium-ion battery and advanced manufacturing sectors. More than US$30 million has already been invested to establish a portfolio that spans natural flake graphite mining, processing and recycling.

In Tanzania, the Company is advancing the Epanko Graphite Project as the foundation of its TanzGraphite business, producing long-term, stable feedstock and premium flake graphite for industrial applications. Alongside this, it is planning a Mechanical Shaping Facility to convert flake graphite into spherical graphite — the essential precursor to battery-grade anode materials.

EcoGraf’s proprietary HFfree® purification process then upgrades this spherical graphite to 99.95% carbon content, delivering high-performance anode material to customers across Asia, Europe, and North America. Importantly, the same process is also applied to battery anode re-cycling, offering a sustainable solution to lower CO₂ emissions, reduce waste, and strengthen supply chain resilience.
