Global: OECD publishes due diligence policy mapping tool
"Due diligence policy mapping", July 2026
Governments are increasingly introducing policies and legislation that expect businesses to identify and address adverse social and environmental impacts in their operations and supply chains.
Although many policies share similar goals and are grounded in the same international due diligence standards, it can be difficult to understand how they compare across jurisdictions, policy approaches, scope and requirements.
This mapping helps users understand where due diligence policies converge and where they differ against the OECD six-step due diligence framework.
The mapping is not exhaustive and will evolve over time as policy initiatives emerge. It does not imply any assessment of the policies included beyond the categorisations made, nor does it imply any kind of legal assessment or evaluation.
