Kyrgyzstan: KAZ Minerals Bozymchak exports copper concentrate abroad without transparency in revenue accounting, former top manager claims

A former top manager accused KAZ Minerals Bozymchak of gold export, 30 June 2025
Zhayilbek Dadiyev, former deputy general director for public relations at KAZ Minerals Bozymchak, issued a public statement calling on the state to investigate the company's operations.
According to him, the company has been exporting copper concentrate containing gold and silver outside of Kyrgyzstan for many years without ensuring transparency in revenue accounting.
"For many years, copper concentrate containing gold and silver, mined at this mine, has been transported by the trainload to the plant in Balkhash, Kazakhstan, while the multi-million dollar revenue from this has been deposited into shareholders' bank accounts in London - month after month, year after year. This is not speculation - I speak as someone who worked at this company for eight years," Zhayilbek Dadiyev wrote on his social media page...
