The Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE), through the National Coffee Roundtable, reaffirms its commitment to decent work. In light of recent international reports and, in particular, the KnowTheChain study on the risks of forced labor in Brazilian coffee supply chains, the member entities of the National Coffee Roundtable publicly reaffirm their unequivocal commitment to decent work, to compliance with Brazilian labor laws and international labor standards, especially those related to the elimination of forced labor, as well as to the prevention and confrontation of any and all practices incompatible with human dignity in rural areas....
