For background purposes, the creation of DowDuPont, through the 2017 merger of the Dow Chemical Company and E.I. DuPont de Nemours and Company, grouped product lines and laid the framework for the creation of three highly-specialized companies in 2019 – DuPont de Nemours, Dow Chemical Company and Corteva Agriscience. Corteva Agriscience was established in 2019 and currently has a comprehensive and diverse agriculture business portfolio that includes its crop protection business.
