As part of our Environmental and Social Policy Framework and our commitment to the Equator Principles, MUFG conducts environmental and social due diligence on projects we finance and relies on information provided by clients, independent environmental and social experts, and ongoing monitoring processes throughout the financing period.

For the NEOM Green Hydrogen Project, MUFG continues to monitor the project's environmental and social performance through the established lender monitoring framework, including periodic reviews of independent environmental and social monitoring reports and engagement with the project company, where appropriate.

We note the observations included in your follow-up assessment and will continue to consider relevant information received from stakeholders as part of our ongoing monitoring of the project. Consistent with our role as a lender, MUFG remains committed to engaging with relevant stakeholders through applicable monitoring and due diligence processes.
