...The US on Tuesday further eased its sanctions on Venezuela’s oil industry, this time allowing oilfield services contractors to bring equipment into the South American nation.

General Licence 48, issued by the Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), allows US companies to bring “goods, technology, software, or services” for oil and gas exploration and production into Venezuela.
