"First Quantum Minerals’ Human Rights Policy reflects the company’s commitment to respect internationally recognised human rights standards and to effectively manage activities that may be directly linked to human rights impacts. The Company maintains a zero-tolerance approach to any form of sexual exploitation, abuse or harm by directors, officers, employees, contractors or suppliers.

The Company was notified of the incident referenced, and which was reported in local media in January 2025 and involved contractors at the Kansanshi operation. These allegations were taken extremely seriously and were subject to investigation by the relevant Zambian authorities and the Company. Following this process, charges were not pursued, and the individuals involved were departed Zambia.

Notwithstanding this, First Quantum took immediate steps to reinforce the high standards of conduct expected of all employees, suppliers and contractors, in line with its Human Rights Policy. Accordingly, the Company implemented the following measures:

• reinforced Code of Conduct requirements across the entirety of the workforce and contractors,
• increased supervision and management oversight in relevant operational areas, and
• re-engagement with employees and contractors on behavioural expectations and compliance with Company standards and applicable law.

First Quantum expects all employees, contractors and business partners to uphold the highest standards of conduct at all times. The Company remains committed to preventing and addressing human rights risks through its policies, human rights assessment and grievance mechanisms."
