We have established the “Policy on Environmental and Social Considerations in Financing and Investment Activities” as its policy for addressing environmental and social issues in its investment and financing activities, based on its “Environmental Policy” and “Human Rights Policy,” which set out its fundamental approaches to resolving environmental challenges and respecting human rights. Furthermore, as part of the investment and financing decision-making process, we confirm whether projects comply with the Equator Principles and supports its clientsʼ efforts to address environmental and social considerations required according to the category of each project.

If, during the term of a transaction, we identify a possibility that a client may be involved in a serious human rights risk, including forced labor, we assess the severity of the risk and the clientʼs response. Where necessary, we engage with the client to encourage remedial action.
